During my first consult with Torey, I shared with her that I would love to grow my hair out longer but have not because it is thin and fine. Torey immediately took on the challenge and told me she would help me grow it out. She trimmed and colored through about six months, and four weeks ago weaves in two rows of extensions. Where should I park?
Street parking at our hair color salon is readily available! Please see your stylist to inquire about parking reimbursement.
What payments do you accept?
We accept cash, Venmo, or credit cards.
What is your appointment cancellation policy?
To avoid cancellation fees, we ask that you give a minimum 24-hour notice. Read more here.
May I bring guests with me to my hair coloring appointment?
At this time we are asking that only the guest receiving a service be in the salon. No extra guests/visitors/children are allowed at this time.
What hair products do you carry?
We proudly offer the full line of Kevin Murphy products and a selection of Eleven.
What should I do if I feel ill the day of my appointment?
Please contact your stylist at the soonest opportunity to reschedule.
How long does it take to get your hair dyed at a Happy Valley hair color salon?
It depends on the final result you are hoping to achieve! We will work with you to set a realistic expectation for what you are hoping to achieve. Whether that be through a series of appointments or on longer session- it is all based on what you want.
What does it mean to color correct your hair?
Color correction is a service whereby the current color of your hair is corrected to what you would like it to be. Color correction may be necessary when a coloring has gone poorly or as a previous color fades unevenly.
What is balayage?
Unlike many methods of hair coloring which use foil, in the balyage method coloring is hand-painted in such a way as to make the coloring more gradual and natural looking.
How often can you color your hair?
While there are certain general recommendations out there, there are many factors that play into this question which can be answered after a thorough examination of your hair and a discussion about what your goals are. If you would like an answer tailored to your hair, we encourage you to make an appointment with one of our Happy Valley hair color salon stylists.
How early should I arrive before my appointment?
You do not need to be early! As a courtesy to your stylist and other customers please be prepared to be in the chair at the time of your appointment.
